Description

I wanted to make a random sketch for coloring practice, watercolours and inks or markers, but I started sketching with the 0.3 pencil, so the details got out of hand again... Thus markers because I was not enough of a masochist today to do it with watercolours ^^;

By the way, I do love blue. :D

this took my breath away when I saw it. I was just going to look at it very quickly. Though when I made the image larger I got caught with the detail's and how each thing caught my eye after the girl. ^.^

you did a lot of details which amaze's me I get lucky if I do 1 or 2. the tree branches I didn't realize they had the bark drawn on them! when I saw that it added more to the image. I like how you made the ones that are behind darker and not so detailed.

your flowers they look to flat. with everything in this. they just don't fit. they don't have a shade to them (besides teh shadow) I think you should have added a bit more to them, with shades. Like how you did the blue's to the right. just so they fit in a bit more.

the rest of the background is very well put nothing clashe's together I love how the blues that are blocks and triangles make me think of a stained glass. along with them not being to dark. the circuls over to ther ight add to your image if you hadn't put them there I think the right would have felt a lot more bare then it already is. I think you should have added something over in the right instead the motion of blue it just looks a bit plain compared to the rest of your image.

over all the whole background makes the character pop out, and makes it look like a stain glass like painting.

now the girl infront. the only issue I have is that her jaw/chin is to long for my liking that was the first thing I saw when I was looking at your image. her skin looks really soft and elegent looking. I didn't realize her eye was open, it looked like it was closed. her hair. oh wow I don't know how to even talk about this. the shades in it bring out so much I think that is how you got her to stand out and not blend in with the background. I also find her hair brings out motion and directs the eye's to the girl ^.^ the earing! it looks like a gem <3 her clothes are very well done they have motion that again somehow makes her hair devide the image up. all those details are just amazing <3

this is such a wonderful image I really do feel like I'm looking at a winter wonderland image. nice touch with the 'white' drops they brings out that touch of winter as if they are snow. ^.^
