Hanakotoba - Ajisai

I did this one this summer, and it took me a whole week @_@ This is the first pic in another series I'm starting, "Hanakotoba". It means flower language in Japanese. I wanted the chinese expression, but dA wouldn't show ideograms

So the idea is to draw a different kind of flower for all the languages I can think of ^^ I'll be picking the names I like best Ajisai (hydrangea) is for Japanese. I will probably do Belle de Nuit (mirabilis) for French, Lian (water lily) for Chinese, Madreselva (honeysuckle) for Spanish, and Mai (forsythia) for Vietnamese. I'm not sure for English and Italian yet

The original pic is on 14x20cm Lana watercolour paper. I blame the 0.3 pencil again for detail-craziness.
